OneRepublic - "I Lived" [Music Video]

OneRepublic’s recently-premiered music video for "I Lived" - the latest single from "Native" - tells the story of Bryan Warnecke, a boy living with cystic fibrosis. After a brief introduction of his disease, Bryan shows OneRepublic’s fans in the video photographs and footage of how he’s grown up dealing with this unfair burden. Bryan Warnecke, who is a major fan of Ryan Tedder and Co.’s music, will get the ultimate prize by being flown from his small town to witness live one of the most important concerts in OneRepublic's latest North American tour.

What a moving video! Kudos are in order to Sophie Muller for coming up with the idea. Bryan’s tough story with cystic fibrosis certainly is just a super clever treatment for the “I Lived” music video. It just fits the whole concept of the song in a way I didn't expect. And very nice of OneRepublic to raise awareness towards this disease with the video. They probably won't make the same cash the ELA campaign is doing, but still very nice of 'em!

After releasing the “Native” re-pack exclusive new song “Love Runs Out” a few months ago as the latest OneRepublic single, the Ryan Tedder-led band is now at it again with the original edition of "Native" giving "I Lived" the shot to shine on its own.

Austin Mahone - "Secret" [Music Video]

Teen girls cry for Austin Mahone in the music video for “Secret”. The RedOne-produced 90's Backstreet Boys-inspired song is the latest single from the Texas-born pop singer’s “The Secret” EP. The video for “Secret” was supposed to premiere on VEVO tomorrow Thursday but Austin decided to move the premiere date up one day to today (Sept. 24). Why? No idea. But have a watch 'cause that's all it matters.

So a concert music video it is? Cheap, but in a way due to the 90's Backstreet Boys sound of “Secret” this “concert” video sort of works. It’s giving vintage vibes and that's what the song gives too, doesn’t it?. Shot at his recent North American tour, a scruffy Austin Mahone executes the "Secret" choreography on stage as her teen female fans scream like crazy and weep for their idol.

From what I know Republic Records isn’t very pleased with the commercial performance of “The Secret” EP so I doubt they let Austin work with RedOne ever again. It’s a shame because I really like the 90's pop sound of the EP songs.

Chris Brown & Ariana Grande's Scrapped "Don't Be Gone Too Long" Video Leaks! + Listen Audio

Uh-oh, I see big drama coming. Ariana Grande’s team will undoubtedly become furious when they find out that the music video for "Don't Be Gone Too Long" that Ariana and Chris Brown shot time ago has leaked on the Internet in its entirety.

Didn’t both parties agree this video would be forever sealed in a vault? It seems that with the "X" album release day approaching, someone at Chris Brown's camp though it would be a brilliant marketing move to leak the full "Don't Be Gone Too Long" music video to increase the hype and the awareness for the almost-here album release.

"Don't Be Gone Too Long" will appear on Chris’s new album “X” but the female vocals featured on it aren’t Ariana's. She decided to remove herself from the song and cancel the video premiere after Chris' latest prison entry - for breaking the Rihanna case's probation. Ariana just didn't want her image to be mixed with that of a still dangerous man.

The music video for "Don't Be Gone Too Long" (watch below before it gets deleted by RCA) has a medieval theme and a Romeo and Juliet-inspired plot. Ariana and Chris will fight for their love, cozy up, dance and ride horses.

Calvin Harris & John Newman Feel Remorse In "Blame" Music Video

IMG_0063-0.JPG

Calvin Harris and John Newman blame it on the night and not on the fact that they're such players. The Emil Nava-directed music video for "Blame" finally premiered today, September 12th on VEVO. In the video, Calvin gets to sleep with a woman that's totally in his league, while John will get to do the same but with a girl that would never see him with sexual attraction in real life. Oh, the perks of shooting music videos!

“Blame” is the latest single from DJ-singer’s Calvin’s upcoming album, and it’s leading the midweek UK charts. If nothing changes, the Scottish man will see his fifth UK number one happen this Sunday. Congratulations in advance!

Back to the music video, it opens with Calvin and John at their respective mansions sitting on bed giving the back to the lady who’s slept next to them. Although I really didn’t understand the ending where the girls dived into water recipients/hot-tubs and teleported themselves to a pool miles away from where they where, I guess the idea of the video is that John and Calvin met the girls they slept with at the club, and instead of blaming it on their inextinguishable appetite for sex, they want to blame it on “night” for having met these sweet and innocent girls the previous night and had taken them to their houses.

I can totally understand Calvin’s “chick” agreeing to go with him to his place to make wild love – just see here a picture of Calvin Harris shirtless - but John's "chick"? Come on, that girl must've been dead drunk.
